The Madewell Sale: My Favorites for 40% Off

Welcome, newcomers who are questioning my ability to blog (news flash: I’ve been doing this for awhile). Since my DMs are overflowing with questions about the who-what-where of things I post, I thought I’d organize it a bit more formally. Plus, I’m on my third Madewell haul (they keep ADDING stuff), so I thought I’d share my favorites.

The sale is 40% OFF the lowest sale price (with the code GOBIG). That’s right. Let that settle before you tear through the sale section, and my favorite picks.

I have had my eye on so many of these this season, never knowing they’d go on such a wild sale (seriously, my cart dropped from $200 to $78 when I applied the Promo Code – for 5 high-quality items!).

Plus, Madewell is notorious for never going on a jeans rampage. So, this is rare, and I’m here for it.

Here are my absolutely favorite Madewell items (from experience, ownership, or just downright want), and they’re all on MAJOR sale:

Loafer Mules

These loafers are such a hot topic, and the price rarely dips like this. Mules are the ultimate springtime shoe, so I nabbed a pair for warmer weather – I’ve never seen such a good price from such a trusted brand.

Texture Wrap Crepe Top

This JUST arrived from my sale haul and I want to cry – it’s PERFECT! The material is weightier but still breezy enough for a multi-season wear. Pair this with my favorite cardigan, and it’s my go to outfit for a night out tonight (and, hello, it’s 5º where I live). I could not love this top more.

These High-Rise York Wash Jeans

This item is such a hot topic, they’ve restocked it 4 times. These are Madewell’s ULTIMATE jeans, and I’ve never seen a pair drop in price so much (did I mention it’s 40% off the sale price?). The ultimate skinny jean in color and style, I wear these probably three times a week (shoot, don’t tell my husband about all the things I promised I would wear).

A white-knit cable sweater

This comes in two colors, and is one of their cheaper sweaters on the Favorites tab from Madewell’s most loved. I love a good, loose cable knit, so I suggest sizing up on this one.

This yarn mock neck sweater (which has been a firm $90 all season – now you’d pay less than $50!)

I have been waiting for this to go on sale ALL SEASON, praying it didn’t run out. Good news, it hasn’t! And it’s running in 4 (I believe?) colors, all of which are gorgeous. This made it in my second Madewell sale haul. I am squealing and praying it gets here soon.

Demi-boot jeans (in comfort stretch)

Are any of you bold enough for these jeans? They are literally on my Goal List for Fashion in 2019 (that’s really a thing I do – should I write about it?). They are such a cute color and length, I can almost picture all the pretty shoes I’d rock in these.

A military green coat

Quilted coats are so fire. PLUS: this one will last winter and spring. Am I the only one who thinks in “how-long-can-this-last-me”?

The popular gray sweater-coat

Not sure how this hasn’t sold out yet, but it’s one of my favorites, and it’s cheaper than the typical cardigan! I wear my fair gray cardigans with a gentle white t-shirt and black jeans, and then I can throw any shoes on (okay, fashionistas who are dying at this comment, get over it! It’s true!)

A gorgeous cashmere burgundy sweater

To the lucky girls who can afford to buy cashmere (and those who can’t – it’s your lucky day!), this gem is on my wish list. I’ve been watching it for months. I crave it. It’s in my cart but I’m still debating. Someone convince me to just do it.

This stunning, simple pocket sweater (in so many colors!)

So many of you bought this pocket pullover sweater this season, and for those who didn’t but are missing out, HA! You get to buy it at a way better price than the ones who snagged it earlier. Better prices make things more fashionable, too. Plus, it’s finally turning to the weather for it – it’s the ultimate spring sweater.

An oversized, star-print black button-up (because I love myself)

Pregnant gals: take note. My cute pregnant sister-in-law rocked one of these oversized button-ups and the look totally compliments a little round belly. And even if you’re not pregnant, getting that rogue-artist vibe is on my hot list for this year, so I LOVED adding this to my closet. I wear it everyday. Seriously.

Velvet ballet wrap top (in three stunning colors – and I bought two of them!)

My favorite Madewell purchase this year. The soft sage green version of this is GORGEOUS and the dark velvet is equally as alluring. I can’t wait to rock this, if January 17th could just come sooner (me, awaiting the day my things arrive).

Varsity pleat-sleeve sweatshirt

Ok, from my recent haul, this is the one I’m most pumped about. A sporty me can finally find a reason to wear my new Vans (I’m so particular about pairing Vans with things – help me!)

Bubble sleeve sweater-dress

My recent sweater dress purchase was not this inexpensive, so I envy those of you who are getting a deal on this baby, because it’s super gorgeous (and in two equally pretty colors).

A cozy teddy cardigan (super on sale)

Last, but certainly not least, the only clothing item that’s getting me through the rest of winter. Otherwise, I’d hibernate!

Furry gold sweater top (also in pink)

This cutie look is next on my purchase list. Gah, I want it on me right now!
